What in the whole city of Gatlinburg did we do today?

So I did wake up at 7:45 this morning to eat breakfast and leave for Ripley's Aquarium at 9:00. We dropped off Tay and Mom at the North Chalet Village Clubhouse so they could lay out there for the morning. We got gas on our way there, and it was a tourist trap because they didn't advertise how much gas was in such a touristy place. When you got to the pump they told you that gas was $4.15 a gallon! How much of a tourist trap is that!?

We got to the aquarium and saw lots of cool creatures, huge fish, sea turtles, sharks, and sting rays. I have lots of favorite parts of the exhibit. I first saw 2 feet long fish, and I thought that was big. But the next huge fish I saw was a 7 feet long giant catfish. Then we saw Piranhas and other fish. After that we saw some really cool Poison Dart Frogs. They come in lots of cool colors such as blue and yellow and red and black. They are so shiny they look like plastic.
Then we went in a clear tunnel and saw some gigantic fish and then some sting rays and sharks and a sawfish. That is a huge Sting ray like fish with a long 4 foot saw beak sticking out of it to catch fish. And we saw things like that and then saw a huge Sea Turtle. Huge! Then we went to a room with lots of cool creatures. I saw some jellyfish, poisonous fish, Spider Crabs, which are huge, 2 foot crabs that move very slowly. We saw an octopus and a starfish. Then we went to the penguin playhouse and saw them being fed. They metabolize foods very quickly and have to eat 20% of their body weight in fish. If a human did that, they would have to eat 80 quarter pounders from Mcdonald's each day! Ugh! Anyway, we crawled up a tunnel and got to see the penguins up close. Then we went to the outside tank and saw a penguin named Eddie. Each penguin has it's own name and own diet. He swam up and down for us. He enjoyed our presence a lot. Anyway, we said goodbye to Eddy and went to the Touch a-Ray Bay where I got to touch a Sting-Ray. It was super slimy! Then, after we had seen everything there was to see, we went home to eat lunch. After a while, me, mom, and dad went to the Clubhouse. It was a little to crowded so I just got a tan for a while and jumped in occasionally. Then Dad and I went to play ping-pong for a while. Then it started to thunder and we had to get out of the pool. Me and dad played a real game of ping pong and I got run over. The first game I lost 11-1. The next game I also lost 12-10. And again, I lost 11-3. Then we played some good old foosball. I won that one by 1 point, 8-9. So I won one and lost three. Not bad, not bad, terrible. Anyway, the thunder wouldn't go away, so we just headed home. That's where we are now, with lightning and thunder and rain. Just watching the Travel Channel. Staying dry. Anyway, tomorrow we do leave for home sweet home. And I can hope some pictures maybe tonight, tomorrow, or Saturday, or maybe even Sunday. So even though our Trek is almost done, you can still see our pics in the following day. So be on the watch for some pictures.

Tonight I write today's recap.

This morning we left after breakfast to go to River Rat Tubing for our tubing adventure. We got there and then got our paperwork filled and took off on the River. We all got tubes with bottoms, and we are all glad we did because the bottoms protected our bottoms from 64 degrees hypothermia waters. So when we were put in the river, we were riding on the tubes smoothly and then there were rapids that were a little bumpy and fast and spinny but was really fun for on a tube. We could have done that for the whole ride. I thought that the water was shallow the whole ride because it was in the first part of the river. So I was getting a little hot and I was going to get in the water to cool off my feet a little. Instead of it being shallow, it was very deep and then I was preparing to land on my feet in shallow water but instead I went completely under hypothermia water. I then ad to swim about 100 feet out of the freezing cold waters to get back to shallow waters and then back on the raft to shore where I got off to meet the shuttle back to the River Rat place. And after that we went to Kroger to get some groceries and went home. Then, later, we went to the Chalet Village Clubhouse and sunbathed and swam and got some tans and then went home to another hot tub whirl tonight. Hey, aren't vacations supposed to be relaxing? Anyhow, that was today. So tomorrow morning me, Callie, and Dad are going to Ripley's Aquarium, which is the number 1 aquarium in the whole country! So that sounds like an interesting read tomorrow. I thing you'd better stay up-to-date on the blog.

The Vitamin Water Trek

I also think that I should tell you that I have been drinking plenty of Vitamin Water this whole trip. I had two the day we left, one the second day, one the third day, one the fourth, and one today. Sort of like the chicken strip New York episode...

The pictures below

OK, let me get things straight for you. Even though I was in a hot tub here, I was was asking Tay to upload those pics for me because I can't use her laptop and that is the only computer that can upload pictures and video. So I told her to do that because I couldn't. And anyway, who wouldn't want to take advantage of a hot tub, right? And plus, Tay even got in the hot tub herself. So I, for the last time I will say this, AM NOT LAZY!

Thank you for your time. We hope to see you again here very soon.

The Post-Rafting Mountain Views

Hey Clement Trip Readers:
Taylor is posting a little something for Jack tonight, he wants to upload some photos of our trip, and since he's in the hot tub right now, he is a little too busy living a life of luxury to worry about the fickleness of computer uploading.

Happy Viewing. Taylor

Oops! And our white water rafting adventure recap

Yeah... the internet 1394 connector went down yesterday when I was in the middle of making some changes to the security settings on my blog because Blogger sent me an e-mail to install Blog filter on my blog. And I was making settings to keep blog hackers out of my blog. I chose to let all of my followers follow until I was disconnected. So none of you were on my viewing list. But I fixed that today.

Anyway, we went on our white water rafting trip. Let me just say, the life jackets and helmets were very stinky. When we were on bus to our put-in we crossed into North Carolina for two seconds until we backed out a second later. So technically you could say that I went to North Carolina on this trip. Anyway, we were on our raft on the first part and things were very fast but not too rough. Then a few minutes later we got to a class III rapid. It was very bumpy and you were sprayed wet. But nothing could have prepared us for the class IV rapids. They were SUPER bumpy and they threw you around and you got soaking wet. The first few IVs I fell inside the boat, but thankfully not outside the raft. Those were the fun rapids. And there were peaceful breaks in between. And then we got to a part in the ride where there were class III and IV rapids all next to each other. Then there were some calm and bumpy places and we were out.

Anyway, tomorrow we get to go tubing. Stay tuned for that and other adventures on the way!

Our plans for tomorrow

tomorrow we will go white water rafting. and that is it. we are just going to take it slow day by day. So keep up to date, even though events will come slowly

We are at our chalet!

So my phone broke in Knoxville and I wasn't able to post by mobile. So I think I should tell you everything that happened since lunch.

Well as you might already know, we went to Market Square in downtown Knoxville to eat lunch in a place called The Tomato Head. It was very delicious and I had a Ham and cheese sandwich with lettuce. It was yummy. Then we went to this place called Earth to Old Town and bought a Ben and Jerry's Half Baked Ice Cream bar. Then we sat down in the middle of the peaceful Market Square. Then we left for the chalet. We got her in an hour and 45 minutes due to some bad traffiic. We got here a few minutes ago. Here is the physical description of the house floor by floor:

On the first floor there is a bathroom, a game room, and a board room. On the second floor is the main living space. The living room, the dining room, the kitchen, a bathroom, my room, mom and dad's room, and another bathroom. On the third floor there is the girls loft room. So it is pretty nice here. Stay tuned. The rest of today we rest, but tomorrow, we go on our adventurous white water rafting trip. So stay tuned to the CTTT!
We are going to a place called tomato head for lunch instead.
Instead of going to Jason's for lunch, we are going to a place called cafe 4

Busy day today!

We have a very busy day today! First we will go down to breakfast. Then we are going to return the Budget Truck and then get the new rental car. The girls are going to Walmart and Target for things for Tay's apartment house. And then we go to lunch at Jason's Deli and check out of the hotel and head out for our chalet

Home after Calhoun's

I just got out of the shower after our trip to Calhoun's. We had to go up this really steep hill to get to and from the restaurant and we had to go on a skybridge to get to the Volunteer Landing and walked to Calhoun's. We had a nice seat that overlooked the Tennessee River.  I had ordered a cheeseburger and a baked potato. The cheeseburger was too well done and the baked potato only came with butter. Some loaded Baked Potato. So that was a pretty bad dinner for me. But everyone else enjoyed their dinner. So that was good. Sighning off for Sunday,

       Jack

Our walmart trip was delayed

Yep. Our walmart trip has been delayed until tomorrow. So I have all night to relax and kick back and eat some goodies from the Suite Shop ( The mini convenient store in the lobby with lots of yummy foods), until we go out to dinner at Calhoun's tonight. When we get home we relax for the remainder of the night.

Back at the hotel with time to rest!

I am at the hotel resting for some time before we go to shop for Tay's house supplies and food. Tay is at her house resting and the rest of us are at the hotel, either sleeping or blogging. Since I am the only one awake right now, watching ESPN, I guess I should tell you about our day so far before I go off again today.

So as you all might already know, We went to Taylor's house to unpack all of those boxes. Her house is very tiny and blue, in the backyard of the house in front of it's owner. It has a space for her bed, a bathroom, a kichen, a living space, with a rug, the bookshelf, and the reupholstered rocking chair.

The neighborhood around the house is a lot like a typical street neighborhood out there in Lake Charles or Sulphur. There are some alleyways, and there are a lot of apartment complexes everywhere. For some strange reason, there are lots of shoes hanging from the telephone poles there.

For lunch, we went to Jason's Deli and ate lots of Ice Cream for free there. The we arrived back at the hotel and here I am now. Resting up before going to Walmart.

Later tonight, after Walmart, We should be going to a restaurant to eat with a name that I forgot. After that we may either go do something in Knoxville or going back to the hotel. I don't know. So that's what's left of our long day today. Check in here often!
We have finished unpacking tay's house now. Next we will go to Jason's Deli for lunch. Stay tuned
Loading everything we packed at Tay's very small house right now. stay tuned!

Just about to leave for Tay's apartment.

It's 9:18 Here but where you all are it's 8:18. Anyway, we just got back from our "Breakfast on the House" at the Hampton Inn. I had a biscuit, scrambled eggs and ham, a cream cheese bagel, a waffle, and some milk. I have decided to keep filled up on Vitamin Water all the time because I figure you can never have too much Vitamin C and electrolytes to keep you going all day. Anyway, dad is at the business center downstairs printing some things for our trip, Tay is taking a shower, mom is plucking her eyebrows, and me and Callie are watching the History Channel. Just to check in with everyone before we leave. Stay Tuned

Jack

The end has finally come to a very long day.

We got to our hotel at 10:00 tonight. It would seem boring if I told you all about our trip,  so what if I told all of you about the food we ate today. So I woke up and had a pancake and some vitamin water. Then we left off. I ate some Funyuns. And some more vitamin water. Then I had some Oreos and some chocolate. We stopped to get some gas in hammond and left again. We didn't eat lunch until we got to Newton, MS, where I went to Subway. Then way later I had some dinner from Mcdonald's just as I got into the Hotel. With some vitamin water. So I had a vitamin water day today. What day will I have tomorrow?
We are in hammond. We just fueled up and are heading north on I-55.
And were off! We have started our journey to tennessee!
Here we go! It is 4:07 in the morning and I am about to eat breakfast in a minute. Stay tuned! There are more travel adventures to come today!

Friday, July 8, 2011

Everything is beginning to get squared away!

So we are almost done with packing. All that is left to do is load up our suitcases into the truck tomorrow and load the bookshelf tonight. Just one more side to seal and then it will be done and ready to load. Also, we are going to try to load bookshelf pics tonight sometime. So we are almost ready to go. After we are completely packed, I a looking forward to a nice, early pancake breakfast tomorrow and some Starbucks at 7:00. Then the Trek all unfolds from there. And I will tell you all about the unfoldings of our adventure. Stay tuned and stay on this blog for the next few days!

Things are getting down to the wire!

Today we are packing up and things are getting down to the wire. I am almost finished packing up my stuff. All that is left for me to pack is my mouthwash, soap, and shampoo. We are charging everything from laptops to cell phones to iPods. Taylor is finishing up her bookshelf and should be done in about five hours or at 6:00 tonight. Mom and Dad and Tay are also almost done packing. Callie hasn't even started packing yet. And no one is surprised. Queenie is so lazy, you have to remind her to do stuff every 30 minutes and she still won't do it until the last minute. Yep, that's Callie for you. Anyway, as I write this, Dad is loading the bed mattress up in the truck now. So that's the update on what's up here right about now. We are going to eat lunch now. So stay tuned because we'll be leaving in about 15 hours. And don't forget about the all-nighter tonight. That's the update for now. Stay tuned for more updates!

The Truck is here!

The Truck is finally here, and it is a pretty good truck regarding how big and quiet it is in the cab. In fact, I am posting this inside of the Truck right now! We are loading up some boxes now and will rearrange them to where they need to be tomorrow. But we are one step ahead and getting the boxes in here so we don't have to load them up tomorrow. We can just rearrange them tomorrow. We have the ramp pulled out and my dog Rosie was walking up the ramp to enjoy the height of where she is. Anyway, where I'll be sitting looks like this: Three seats, An A/C  system, radio, CD player, cupholders and a car freshener. So we'll be riding in here for the Trek. Or at least on the way there. The only problem I have with this thing is that you can't go through drive-thrus because the truck is too big. You'll just have to go inside. But that isn't so bad when you think about it. Anyway, tomorrow is also packing day. And we can hope that Tay Finally finishes her bookshelf tomorrow. She probably will. So anyway, signing off for a very busy Thursday, Keeping it real, Jack.

Breaking News! Breaking News!

Callie and dad are on their way to get the Budget truck RIGHT NOW! Stay tuned on this story and more! Keep it on this blog for all the latest news and updtaes!

The bookshelf is almost done! And other plans as we approach the Trek.

The bookshelf is almost done! All that is left to do now is to some finishing touches on the sanding, seal it, let it dry, and it should be ready to go Friday evening. We get our truck tomorrow at noon. I can try and post somee pictures of the bookshelf hopefully tomorrow and then if you want, the Budget Truck. And for you late birds out there, I will be doing an all-nighter blogathon Friday night and super early Saturday morning. It ends at 2:30 when I go to take a shower and then everyone should be awake. The all-nighter will officially ends then and the Trek officially begins! We plan to eat a nice pancake breakfast that morning around 3:00 A.M. and then leave at 4:00 A.M. And you bet this time I will keep all of you up to date on EVERYTHING I am doing on the wa y there, such as reading, sleeping, eating, etc. So keep it tuned to this blog and get all of the exitement this week. It sounds like the rest of this week will be very interesting!

Oh, the good eating on this trip...

Well Nan Carol, I'm sure this trip is certainly for you. And although you love Hershey Kisses ( I do too), you need to realize that they will be all gone before we even get out of Louisiana. Plus, there is no room for you in the Budget Truck, so you would have to ride with the girls where they will be filming their show, The Callie and Tay Road Show. And we are CERTAINLY not sharing our kisses with them. So if you still want to go with us, you'll need to drive up there in your own car, book another room in the hotel (no room left in ours), either sleep on the sofa in our chalet or rent another one, and then drive back home in your car. So if you want to go just for the good eats, I'm positive this trip isn't for you. But it is still nice to read my blog and mooch on some Kisses while you're at it. That is probably the best idea so you can enjoy some kisses and read about the trek simultaneously. That's a good idea. Definetely tell me how it works out with the kisses and the blog together. So eat what you like and like what you eat and read the blog.

Today's preparation for the trip which is coming very soon!

Today was very important for the trek. The bookshelf is being worked on full time all the time. Today we went to the store to pick up toiletries and some goodies to eat on the way there for 14 hours. I can see all of the food bags from today down there. I can see Goldfish, Oreos, Hersheys Kisses Aerated, Swiss Rolls, Granola Bars, Chex Mix, Fruit Gushers, Funyuns, Orville Redenbacher's Ultimate Butter Pop-Up Bowl  Popcorn, and some cherries. Just to name some foods we bought today. Dad is going to buy some water shoes for whitewaterrafting. Anyway, tomorrow is packing day. We will pack all of our stuff up and get it ready to go for the trip. Friday we get the Budget truck, and then Saturday morning at 4:00 A.M. we leave for Tennessee. We get to our hotel at 8:00 that night. A long time on the road. Mom made a meal plan on the road. Here it is:

Saturday morning before we leave: Breakfast
Saturday at 6:00: Coffee at Starbucks
Saturday at 9:00 Brunch somewhere
Saturday at 11:30: Lunch somewhere
Saturday at 6:00: Dinner
And at 8:00 we arrive at the hotel.

An Important day on the blogging front!

Today was a busy day and a very Important day for our trek. Early today we went to Sulphur to pick up some stuff to keep me busy for 14 hours. I got a 15 Puzzle from Cracker Barrel and we went to the Sulphur Library to pick up two books to read on the way. Granny can tell you about our day in Sulphur. Later that day we went to Westlake Upholstery to pick up a rocking chair for Tay. I will try to post pictures of the rocking chair ASAP. And on the bookshelf story... The structure of the bookshelf is finished and she is putting wood putty in the screw holes. I will post pictures of the bookshelf when it is done. Stay Tuned. Who knows what tomorrow will bring?

It's time to start trip countdown week!

Whoopee! It's time to start the trip countdown week! Today's post reflects on the boxes crowding our living room. Earlier today the living room was so crowded with boxes that you could hardly get in. Then later today Tay stacked most of the boxes on top of each other to make a box tower. But we are still packing tonight. And also, all of the new followers should tell more people about this blog. Really. 5 followers is really not that great. Stay Tuned. More blogging tomorrow on the countdown!

Wednesday, June 29, 2011

We may not post our videos...

We may never post our blog bookshelf building videos. So many videos, so little time... But we will post a picture of its progress starting tomorrow. Also, if any of you out there watched Oprah's 25th season you might recall the Oprah and Gayle Yosemite Adventure. Well we are doing sort of the same thing...
Introducing the Callie and Tay Road Show, a show about Callie and Tay's dramatic car adventure to Tennessee. Sure to be entertaining! So that's one thing to be looking forward to on our trip. Stay tuned. Recruit more followers. Keepin it real. Jack.

No videos today, but a full commentary.

Looks like the camera is out of battery today. But I can bring you a commentary. Right now the bookshelf has three shelves. But we still have to put dividers in the shelves. She'll be using a saw later on this evening, though. And right now She's getting her supplies clean and neat and will work on it more later in the evening when Dad is home. I don't know when we can post those videos. Stay tuned. And also- Anyone who reads this blog needs to recruit more followers. 3 followers is not enough. Let's get all of our New York followers back for this vacation celebration!

Enjoy! Oh, and later on hopefully tonight I can give you a preview of what's coming soon on the blog!

The interview is almost here!

The interview (if it will upload) should be here sometime this afternoon. On the agenda for the video blog today is to film two more videos, upload the interview and those two videos at the best day. At the worst, only the interview makes it today but filmed only one video. Episode 1 should be here today. Unless the blog says otherwise.

Friday, June 24, 2011

Just minutes ago we finished filming the interview. Now it is on the computer being produced into a real interview. After it is done being produced, we will try to upload the video to Blogger. Let's hope it uploads this time. If it doesn't upload, it is totally not my fault. It is 100% completely Blogger's fault. I hope it uploads. It might be tommorrow before it makes it to the blog. If it does, here are the credits for the show.

updates on the bookshelf

So I guess all of you want to hear more about the bookshelf story. So I decided to try something new that's never been seen before on either of my blogs. I'm going to have an interview. And who better to interview than the person who came up with the idea herself, Taylor! So here is the interview that I conducted with Tay.

"So, Taylor, do you have the plans for the bookshelf yet?"
 "No. No I don't."
"What kind of material do you plan to make your bookshelf out of?"
"Wood. I'm thinking about white wood."
"When do you want to buy the supplies for the bookshelf?"
    "Sometime next week."
"When do you want to start building it?"
     " Next week."

We apologize for the inconvenience for not being able to bring you the rest of the interview, but Taylor is not feeling well today and is going to bed- right now. Stay tuned for part two of the Taylor interviews- Coming Soon!

Many thanks to all of our followers!

I know I don't mention this nearly enough, but, all the feedback and comments, I appreciate it. I do. Without you, this blog wouldn't have existed. So I want all of you to know... YOU are who keeps this blog running, and YOU are the reason you all have the privilege to read my blog. And YOU get to share my adventures with me, live in me vicariously, and have fun with me... All because of YOU. And I don't blog to let you know what I'm doing in all of my travels. I blog so that you can go with me to Knoxville... Just like we went to New York together. And we all had a great time, too. I'm so glad I brought all of you along with me to the Big Apple. So that's why I'm bringing you with me to Knoxville... To bring everyone on Jack's Worldwide Adventure. Because I think it's selfish to have all the fun and leave you out. Now cheers to us over the internet (Post a comment that says "Cheers"), and let's get this Trek (and party) Started together! Oh Yeah!

The trip's coming too fast!

The trip is just coming too fast!  A few days ago we realized that the trip is only three weeks away! Where has the summer gone already?! So anyway, we are really starting to get down to business here. My living room is crowded because of all the boxes here, some packed and ready to go, some not. And it's not just the family room, either. The dining room wall has all kinds of stuff along it... and it won't be clear until we load it into the Budget Truck. From just looking at the wall fom where I am typing this, I can see suitcases, clothes, cooking supplies, Art supplies, Empty boxes, Packing peanuts, a Microwave, Mouthwash, a vaccum cleaner, a mop, plastic containers, bags, boxes and boxes and boxes of books, paintings, etc. Just to name a few. Oh, and I couldn't forget the hallway leading to Tay's room. From there I can see Paintings, Pictures, a dresser, more boxes, bags, and a rug. And then there's all the rest of Tay's stuff in her room. And all the interior supplies in Dad's truck. And Callie, well, she's getting pretty serious about her dorm too, but not as serious as Tay. And don't forget about the news story on the bookshelf. No further developments have been made, but I would definetely stay up-to-date on that story and this blog!

Yestderday we finished packing up all of Tay's books and today she is going to Lafayette for the day. And I don't know what we'll do next. but things are getting excititing. So if I were, you, I would check back here every 12 hours form when you view this. Because that's how often I post. And sometimes I don't post in a whole day, because I don't have the time. But... Just stay tuned, alright?

Yesterday's Post

I'm sorry I couldn't blog yesterday.I was awfully busy. But the daily yesterday was an inportant factor in our Tremendous Tennessee Trek. Because Yesterday we booked our hotel and our chalet. Today, we may not do anything much to prepare for the Trek. The next step on the agenda is to probably book a white water rafting trip. But today I will still have news flowing in and out of the blog. So be watching, and have a great day.

We changed our hotel!

We have changed the hotel we stayed in because it is no longer available because SOMEONE (my dad) did not care to book it early enough! But, we did find a better hotel, a Hampton Inn, and it's a 3 minute drive from Tay's house and a 10 minute walk. So if you want to check out the hotel, you can click here. Or if you want to check out our specific room, click here. And, like you might have read in my other post, we are also staying in a chalet, which you can look at by clicking here.

Each day, we move closer to the "Trek"...

I feel as if each day of summer we are doing something to prepare for our Tennessee Trek. So in that case, each day I will post a blog sceipt on what we did to prepare for the trip that day. So, today, we went to Westlake Upholstery to get Taylor's chair refabricated for her house. Oh, and I told Tay about keeping the LSU blood in her veins. The thing is she doesn't get that this is serious business and that this could affect the family. But we surely will need to dunk her... Somewhere...

When we arrive in Knoxville...

So when we arrive in Knoxville the first night, we will check in to our hotel, Residence Inn by Marriot. You can check out this hotel by clicking here. Then the next day will be all about moving Tay in to her house. The girls will help her move in while the boys will look for some good places to go when we actually do vacation up there. And we'll also bring lunch to the girls. If you know some good places to eat feel free to post them on the comments. I know we'll definetly have some Jason's Deli for lunch. Then, when we're done moving in Tay, we'll check in to our chalet, the Red Hawk Inn. Click here to look at this chalet. Then we'll start doing the fun stuff a that dad and me mapped out earlier. But, again, I'm not telling you what'll happen because I don't want to give it away. So that's a little more information for you guys. I'll keep you updated.

Welcome back!

Well, I suppose this is hello again to all of you. And if this is the first time you've seen me blog, hello for the first time, and you can check out my other blog, Clement Family Trips, from our trip to New York City.
So I suppose I should probably tell all of you out there the low-down on the "Trek". So first here are some things you might need to know. Tay is going to college at the University of Tennessee in Knoxville to be a Volunteer. (But don't worry, Grandpa. I'm still a Tiger Fan.) So eventually Tay and dad drove up to Knoxville to try and get the house for Taylor. And they did. So we will have to drive up there again to move all her stuff in. With a Budget Moving Truck rental. That we're driving. And wcie're going to move her car up there by driving it. For 14 hours. With lots of stops to use the restroom and eat and fuel up and important things like that.
At this point some of you may be thinking: "Wow Jack! That's a long drive! Which car or truck will you go in?"
And my answer to that question is:
"Well guys, to tell you the truth, I kind of know what I'll be doing and I kind of don't. I need to explain this to you."
 And so,
"You see guys, the Budget moving truck has two seats and it might have a fold down bench seat. That I don't know. If it did, the truck would seat three. If it didn't, it would seat two people. So the big question is, Would you really want to sit on a bench seat in a moving truck for 14 hours? No way! The other car we'll be hauling up there is a compact car that seats five. So we know that the Moving truck sits at least two people, that's my mom and dad. The compact car is being driven by Tay and Callie. And I have the back all to myself. That's a good deal, right? But we will stop and switch drivers in the cars. So I might drive with dad for a while and let mom go in the back seat of the compact car with the girls. But I don't know."
If there's one thing I should tell you it's we're not leaving until June 10. But why not get the blog started early, eh?
So I guess that's a wrap for this first post.
